Most of the cars are stolen, which is why they set cars on fire at some street takeover.
No one will damage their OWN everyday car like they do, giving the cost of cars.
Last I checked, they (those in charge of ordinances etc) don’t allow it to happen in LA county

The solution to this issue isn't speed bumps, the solution is getting the police to do their job and having social media crack down on the distribution of videos which glorify criminal behavior.
It’s not the police, it’s the politicians, DA’s, and judges.
It's pretty nauseating how the cops show up after the Carnage instead of stopping it before.
So many years ago cops were able to put a almost complete stop to street racing by the car crushing program, why exactly can't they seem to combat this problem, the cars doing burnouts and donuts don't even block their plates, so why can't they be prosecuted???

Solution: Remove traffic lights and Put round-abouts at every intersection and it will stop Street takeovers...like the one at Lakewood Blvd and PCH in Long Beach

The Police, Sheriff and Highway Patrol should form a joint task force to deal with street shows. They always get to the scene too late. They need to be proactive.

Cheap fast cars
It reminds me of the1950's when Hot Rodders did a lot of street racing and smart people opened up drag strips and sanctioned racing. Perhaps a similar solution would help if someone provided a place for these morons to play with their cars.
